EAWOP Conference Travel Grant
ANNOUNCEMENT OF CONFERENCE TRAVEL GRANT
EAWOP's mission is to promote and support the development of Work and Organizational Psychology in Europe. One way to do this is to get work and organizational psychologists from across Europe together to explore mutual interest and build collaborative networks, with our EAWOP conference being a critical forum for such networking and knowledge exchange activities.
EAWOP is therefore pleased to announce a new scheme targeted towards EAWOP student members called the “EAWOP Conference Travel Grant”. The EAWOP Conference Travel Grants are intended to support student members’ attendance of the EAWOP conference in order to present their research.
Funding. In order to permit an equitable distribution of the funds, any single award will not exceed €500. The recipient is expected to submit a short report on the conference attendance by the awardee is submitted within three months after the EAWOP conference for inclusion in the EAWOP newsletter
Eligibility. Students currently registered for a PhD at a European university are eligible to apply. They need to be a student EAWOP member by the time that the use the EAWOP travel grant. Any member can be awarded a maximum of one travel grant. The application should include (i) the completed application form available on the EAWOP webpage; (ii) a copy of the abstract submitted to the EAWOP program committee (only one first-authored abstract per applicant); and (iii) a copy of the notification of acceptance of your submission.

Criteria. The following evaluation criteria will be applied: a) Scientific merit of conference submission; b) Strength of the applicant’s scholarly achievements; and c) Academic need and expected academic benefit; i.e. postgraduates from countries/departments, which have only limited access to travel funds and whose infrastructure or training facilities are less well developed than elsewhere are especially encouraged to apply and are given preference.
PhD students interested in applying for the EAWOP Conference Travel Grant are invited to submit an application to the EAWOP Executive Committee (EC) by September 30th 2021.
