ETH Zurich - Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) of Organizational Behavior

The Department of Management, Technology, and Economics (www.mtec.ethz.ch) at ETH Zurich invites applications for above-mentioned position. The department is an interdisciplinary unit comprising research and teaching in management (e.g. strategy, technology and innovation, entrepreneurship, human resources, operations and supply chains, information systems) and economics (e.g. energy, innovation, insurance, public policy).

Qualifications include a PhD in organizational behavior, psychology, sociology or other social science domains relevant for the position, a promising international research record exemplified through publications in leading journals, and a demonstrated commitment to teaching and working with students on real-world projects with business organizations. Successful candidates possess the ability to conduct research in organizational behavior on a high international level. Research domains are open, with respect to a good fit within the department, strategic leadership and organizational change are particularly relevant. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in conducting industry-related research. The new assistant professor will be expected to teach undergraduate level courses (German or English) and graduate level courses (English).

This assistant professorship has been established to promote the careers of younger scientists. The initial appointment is for four years with the possibility of renewal for an additional two-year period and promotion to a permanent position.
