In role of EU Talent Assessment Specialist (m/f) you will be part of the Global Talent Acquisition organization and work closely with teams across Amazon to deliver innovative assessment strategies for candidates.
As part of the Talent Assessment team, you will participate in assessment development, validation activities, job analyses, and competency modeling. You will work with stakeholders to assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop milestones to ensure timely completion of projects. You will also assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints and encourage risk taking behavior to maximize business benefit.
Successful candidates will be detail-driven and have excellent problem solving abilities. You should not only be passionate about assessment development but should also be obsessed with contributing to the development of high-performance teams through rigorous goal-setting, disciplined attention to performance metrics, and continuous process improvement. This role is based in Luxembourg and reports into the Sr Manager, Talent Assessement in the US.
You must be able to:
· Interact with executive project sponsors and multiple business and development teams.
· Lead the effective and efficient delivery of projects.
· Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
· Maximize resources for the greater good of the organization.
· Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels.
· Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders.
· Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.
Qualifications
· 2+ years’ experience with project delivery for large, cross functional Projects
· 5+ years’ of personnel selection experience
· Experience with software implementation
· Master's degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology or related field
· Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
· PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology or related field
· Previous work experience in recruiting or assessment strategies
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Quantitative analytical abilities
· Proven problem solving skills
· Strong organizational skills
