The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (Institute of Psychology), the Faculty of Business and Economics (Department of Organizational Behavior) and the National Centre of Competence in Research LIVEs offer a:

80% SNF Junior Researcher in Psychology

Start date:  December, 1st 2016 (or upon agreement)
End date:  December 2018
Location: University of Lausanne, Lausanne (Switzerland)

Job description
The candidate will work within the project Career Paths lead by Jérôme Rossier in collaboration with Franciska Krings (University of Lausanne), Willibald Ruch, Alexandra M. Freund (University of Zürich), Christian Maggiori (University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland) and their team. The project is part of the Swiss National Centre of Competence in Research LIVEs (www.lives-nccr.ch/en). It consists in a 7-year longitudinal study of a representative sample of the Swiss working age population.

- The opportunity to participate in a national project including several universities and departments and to work on issues of professional paths from several perspectives such as career counselling psychology, work and organizational psychology or positive psychology.

Requirements
The candidate should hold a Master in Psychology (or an equivalent degree), have a strong interest in areas such as career counselling psychology, work and organizational psychology and/or positive psychology and show competences in the management of large longitudinal datasets, quantitative research, academic writing and teamwork. Proficiency in English and knowledge in quantitative data analysis is strongly advised.
