Kühne Logistics University (KLU), named after its founder and donor, Klaus-Michael Kühne, is a private, independent, international, and state-recognized business school. With a strong emphasis on logistics, supply chain management, and general management in research and education, KLU has a young faculty which is being expanded by several new appointments every year with the intent to build up a strong international reputation in research and teaching. KLU is located in the HafenCity, the heart of Hamburg, one of Europe’s most vibrant cities. It achieved top rankings in research and teaching among German speaking business faculties.
KLU seeks to appoint – starting in September 2015 or later – a new faculty member in the field of human resource management at the level of Associate or Full Professor.
Candidates should combine a strong research record and an understanding of relevant practical problems with inspiring teaching and the willingness to contribute to institution building. We are seeking experienced, talented, and highly motivated professors with a proven record of internationally recognized research and industry collaboration. Experience in obtaining research funds from government, state funding institutions, and industry sources would be helpful. Depending on the experience and academic record of the applicant, the position may be filled at a full professor or tenure track associate professor level.
KLU will offer an internationally competitive salary and bonus that can range in total between 110-165 TEURO, teaching commitment (150 academic hours per year), annual research budget (20 TEURO), and administrative support. In addition, KLU will contribute generously to an approved superannuation scheme.
