Starting a Collaborative EAWOP-Network on Innovation Research and Consulting
23.11.2011
Within (and beyond) psychology there exists a lot of research on innovation processes. Yet, these research activities are somewhat fragmented because there are many different perspectives on innovation processes. Thus, it would be very useful to assemble and exchange the different viewpoints, the research pieces and the open questions within an EAWOP-network. Moreover, innovation processes involve more than one individual, they are multi-person activities within and between organizations. Research on such collaborative, often conflict arousing phenomena is somewhat sparse and thus worthwhile to be strengthened collaboratively. Since scientists often also do some consultancy work these aspects of knowledge transfer into practice and, learning from practice, we should include such discussions because there are special problems as well as chances inherent in such endeavours.
In order to establish such a network we first have to look who is interested and who deals with which aspect(s) of innovation processes. So, please, send an e-mail to me if you are interested in building such a network and describe shortly what is your research topic related to innovation processes. The next step then would be to find a suitable date (with the help of doodle) and a place (perhaps Berlin) for a first meeting.
I hope to find many interested colleagues.
Best regards,
Wolfgang
